ButterfliesBy Sheila@ 5:14 pm on May 27, 2010.
Often couples ask me which songs they should use on their wedding ceremony. This is a very personal choice but in my opinion, it should be a song that gives you those butterflies in your
stomach when you hear it. A song that evokes those emotions of love that has brought you to this moment. I’ve compiled a list of a few of my favourites. Feel free to use the following ideas as inspiration.
At Last – Etta James
Amazed – Lonestar
From this Moment – Bryan White and Shania Twain
Jashan Bahare (Instrumental) – Jodha Akbar
Lucky- Jason Mraz and Colbie Caillat
Latika’s theme – Slum Dog Millionaire
Tera Hone Laga Hoon – Ajab Prem ki Ghazab Kahani
Soniyo - Raaz
Tum Bin Bataye – Rang de Basanti
Tum Mile – Tum Mile
Umran di Sanjh - Mannat

Dressing up a boardroom- How hard can it be?
By Amol@ 8:00am on May 13, 2010
Okay, so a boardroom isn't the most exciting place in the world to have a little party but what if that is the only the space you can get and you still want it to be special? As you see in the picture on the right, you can still make it work! :)
This was an intimate corporate event we worked on with our friends at DV8 Communication. These guys really went all out- custom table linens, cutlery and decor, a
special entrance, and get this- Live Music! On a stage! In a boardroom! (No seriously, we had a sitar player and a tabla player on a riser next to the backdrop).
It was great to see another team of committed and creative individuals who dream up new
ideas every day and I look forward to our next event together.

MontrealBy Amol@ 11:00am on May 07, 2010
We were in Montreal this past weekend, working on a wedding with Rachel Gervais (www.an-english-rose.com).
I have to say this was the most perfect wedding weekend this summer (so far!) and I really enjoyed every part of it.
The mandap stage looked perfect, the flowers were beautiful, and Rachel was like an angel
making it easy for all of us and kept everyone smiling! I wish there were more people like her in our industry, and look forward to working with her on future events.
As for the design, I can't commend our artists at the Delhi office enough for the countless
hours they spent making sure it turned out just like we wanted. It was a bit unique in terms of
the detail and material used, so please leave a comment and let us know what you think of it.
We're always open to criticism! :)

DIY with Family
By Sheila@ 3:45 pm on March 16, 2010.
Okay all you DIY brides this post is for you! Lift some weight off your shoulders by giving
your friends and family something to do. What ever the task is big or small, they will
appreciate that you included them.
Try to find a task that matches each person’s personality and something you know that they
will enjoy. Don’t give your outgoing cousin the task of licking stamps. Instead ask them to
give you ideas about how to spice up your reception that will leave your guests in awe! Think
of fun ways to make wedding tasks fun: blast some music, put out some great food, play some games and just reconnect.
This is also a great way to connect with your significant other’s side of the family. Ask your
fiancee’s sister to accompany you to your makeup trials or cake testing! It’s a great way for
you to bond with your in-laws and get to know your new family.

Jashan @ Kismet Wedding ShowBy Amol @ 12:30 pm on February 26, 2010.
This was our second time at the Kismet show, and was a great experience as expected!
We got the opportunity to talk to so many excited brides-to-be, their friends and parents, there was never a dull moment in 8-hour duration of the show. Everyone on our team did a great job setting up and attending to guests at the
show.
The fashion was done nicely as always (great going Harpreet!) and we were able to do a
unique installation on stage as well. Can't wait for the September 2010 show!
P.S.- My apologies to the nice people we weren't able to talk to while we were attending to
others, please do get in touch to see how we can help with your event! :)
